I am new here and looking for a while for my problem in german forums with no solution so far.
I have a lot of free books in epub format in my calibre library. The metadata are often very inconsistent, so I decided to import them by using the information in the filename and in a second step to copy this info in my own fields.
In the next step I wanted to fill the metadata from the infos in the epub-file. This works fine when I edit the metadata book by book (blue
i-Button in Edit Metadata).
Is there a way to do this in bulk for all books at once for the epub format?
