Well something got messed up. I have over 600 books and only a half dozen are side-loaded pdfs etc. (They all now appear at the top of my books list without covers). The rest are regular Kobo purchases all downloaded from their store. I'm going to stay off the app for a while and hope it all magically goes back to the way it was just this morning...
