Darn. My kobo app on my ipad wouldn't start. Realised there was a Dec update and took care of that. Also applied a minor update to iOS. Finally got the app to work again. But now my shelves/collections have gone back to how they looked maybe six months ago (or before), meaning that many of my books have to be re-assigned to shelves. The 'I'm reading' section is also empty, and the shelves are no longer in alphabetical order. Why doesn't Kobo maintain a backup of this??? Not happy at all....
