Not true. In the case of the Hypo-Alpia Adria, the very stupid government of Austria, without properly checking the books of the Hypo-Alpia Adria, took over that bank instead of letting it go bankrupt, and now the taxpayer in Austria will pay for this for many years to come. So millions of taxpayers will lose money for many years, as we are talking about billions of euros.
Probably, in the next few months, a parliamentary commission will start to examine this whole deal.
