The only differences I can see is that tail letters are 1 pixel shorter; and the lower case 'a' is slightly different, the bottom half is shorter on Bookerly. I didn't stop and compare every letter in both upper and lower case, but letter width and height both seem identical (with the exception of the tail letters as noted), spacing within words seems identical, spacing between lines seems identical.
Bookerly has more feet than Caecilia making it serif instead of slab-serif. I think they should have just given us the condense version of Caecilia instead of the new font which with all the new feet looks squished.
