First, do not convert Amazon books to MOBI for sideloading. There is no reason to, as it is either already a MOBI, or else it is the superior AZW3.

In general, it is a bad idea to sideload a book that is already on the device, since the framework can get badly confused. One copy of a book should be the limit.
