Hello
First of all I would like to say a big thank you for offering such a great program.
Now, on to some of my experience while reading epubs in Calibre. My comment has to do with the "Paged mode" in the viewer, where I am eyeing the way Calibre handles the page turning. As we all know, it can be either plain "back, forward", where a single page goes on at a time, or "Previous\Next Page", where all two pages are replaced with other two pages . My main remark is that I can see Calibre not allowing any *blank* page being the last page (or the right one on a paged state). This has some implications where the book reaches end of chapter (page-break I assume?). I will give an example:
A chapter has, say, 8 pages. So we have 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and on to the new chapter.
But, if a chapter consists of 9 pages, look what is happening: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 8-9. You can see that when we reach the end of the chapter, the book advances only one page, which is sort of disrupting.
So, to conclude, could the developers change that behavior (possibly by allowing a blank page being shown at the end of a chapter - if needed)? Of course you could say that Calibre is open source, so I could go on and make the changes my self, but I am reading books in Calibre ATM in order to do just that, to learn programming
