I don't necessarily need the header that the Kobo shows with kepubs--I know the name of the book of reading usually

; but I do like the option of showing the number of pages (screen turns) in an individual chapter that the kepub format gives you. It gives me a good indicator of how long it will take to get to the end of a chapter at a glance. So, I put up with having the header to get the kepub footer. I do wish I could customize the information displayed in the header/footers so that I could have a clock in the corner of the screen and maybe the percentage of the book read.
