My preference would be a recipe for the US Edition, that downloads news stories (not video, TV, or Opinions) as organized on the CNN.com website. The site carries a lot of articles, so I don't think the recipe should download articles older than ~24 hours at the time of download.
(Of course there are many users of that recipe, so opinions could vary...)
