Now finished. And very good it was too. Although a fairly straight novelisation of the TV series, there were, I think, more reminders that Catweazle is a real magician. As would be expected, Catweazle hasn't dated as a character, but the 1970s is very 1970s.

I think an updated Catweazle would be a fun film.

I'm a fair way in now, but Hogan pushes his 'scientific' and political opinions rather hard in this book and series. I'll probably finish it, but if it starts getting worse I'm going to abandon it.
