I'm still not 100% clear on what is being asked. Back in the dim dark day of the paper book I would often, when browsing in a book store, initially read the back cover blurb to get an idea of what a book was about. I was often frustrated when the blurb consisted of endorsements from reviews and other authors rather than a rudimentary description of the plot. Such books rarely parted me from my money.

If your wife simply wishes to read this type of blurb from ebooks you have already purchased, there is some really good advice in this thread. If, on the other hand, your wife wishes to read the blurb to decide which ebooks to purchase reading the book description online is the logical and convenient solution. The other alternative is for her to visit a book store and pick out the books she wants. I know of someone who goes to Big W (an Australian Discount Variety Chain) and takes pictures with their phone of the books they want, then goes home and purchases them online. Big W istelf sells epubs, though I do not know how easy they make it to purchase them instore. No doubt some book stores in your country will offer an easy option to purchase ebooks in store, depending of course on the reader you choose.
