It does allow you to delete the album. First select all tracks, then delete the entire album. That's just two keystrokes once you've found the album.

Finding the albums is hard part. It get really tricky if you have purchased a few songs from that album but not others. There use to be a trash option but they remove that so if you accidentally a song that isn't Prime it's gone.
