Thanks, that works in conjunction with text-align:right (not float:right that I used initially).
However, result is ugly (see result.png).
Now I understand that I didn't make my point clear: My intention was to truncate title so that it started at the right side of the page center (see target.png). That will allow to keep up the gap between author and title.
Maybe this cannot be implemented by html/css commands?
