There are two Goodreads app. One is made for the Kindle Reader part and one is the full app. You want the full app installed. The one for Kindle is basically useless and comes preinstalled. You have to install the full version of Goodreads from the app store. It may be a few versions behind from Google Play version which is always up to date.

Yeah, I went from a standard cell phone, to an iPhone 3 and have stayed in the iPhone/Apple family.
When my husband started using my iPad more than I was, I decided I wanted to try the Fire since I've loved Kindles since the K3. Plus, as some have indicated its the perfect size to be an ereader and tablet in one, which the current iPad definitely isn't.
I just downloaded the updated GoodRead app.
Thank You!! While it is quite different from the ios app it is much better than the preloaded one. I wonder why they don't just use this one to begin with.
