Oh wow you got a alot of adjusting to do then. Yes It's called a drawer and I forget you can slide it open.
There are two Goodreads app. One is made for the Kindle Reader part and one is the full app. You want the full app installed. The one for Kindle is basically useless and comes preinstalled. You have to install the full version of Goodreads from the app store. It may be a few versions behind from Google Play version which is always up to date.
