It doesn't have a backlight; eInk screens are opaque, and hence can't be backlit.
The front lighting LEDs are nominally white light, but there's a wide variation between devices. Some are a lot warmer in tone than others. Just "pot luck" what you end up with, I'm afraid.
I seriously doubt, though, that blue or otherwise, you'll be exposed to enough of the light to make a difference. It's a very small device, and not a terribly bright light.
