Is there any way to differentiate this "dropping" from a native MOBI file?
I made a text, with a fixed set of values, field: "Mstr Fmt", which I populate at Original Add time.
This field includes some additional pseudo-formats: Multi, RAR(Html), HTML(zip), Link, Split_off, other.
the format in the list, is how your original was added (and will appear in your original source file archive: which may still have the DRM )
order the value list in the frequency (common) of use so typing the first letter jumps to that choice. eg. PDF, prc, pdb
