Cover-Up. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and kind words, and to explain a little more about exactly what our situation is.
As you know, our Kobo Aura H2O cases were received at our South Wales HQ on Christmas Eve and sent out that day. Unfortunately we then discovered that there is a fault with the cases that means the sleep/wake feature doesn't work. We are in the process of contacting each customer that received one of these cases to inform them of the mistake, and of course to explain how we intend to fix it.
We are getting new cases which will have the sleep/wake feature, but we can't yet confirm when this will be. We don't want to promise a replacement case without being able to give some form of timeframe on when the new case may arrive. However, of course, if people are happy to wait that's perfectly ok with us. Of course, as soon as we have more information on an arrival date for the new cases we will let everyone who's waiting know. Alternatively we have offered customers 10% off their order, which we can refund via the original payment method.
