I use a semi-rigid sleeve that I picked up at a dollar store for transporting it, otherwise it goes unprotected. The basic problem with covers is that they tend to be expensive and rarely do anything beyond claiming to protect a device, without mentioning the type or amount of protection. For all we know, these are designed as purely cosmetic accessories without any testing going into the degree of protection.
