And you would be correct, pshrynk. Good eye.
Long lens, stable tripod, and fairly fast film. I didn't want to over expose the moon because that puppy can really burn a hole in the final photo when it's that bright.
Blown up it is easier to see the grain resulting from use of that sort of film, but at this size, it's not quite as evident.
