PS – I ran cclean (the free version) a couple of times and it never picked up any of those remnants. I also ran Glary, (the free version) a couple of times, and it never picked up any of those remnants either. Those remnants were in place until I used Regedit, and searched for the string.
Yeah, the usual remnants left after an uninstall don't do any harm, they usually refer to things that no longer exist; so, CCC, Glary etc can readily clean them up. SpiderOak, must have left some creepy crawlies in there - money spiders perhaps

Yeah possibly NoScript, I stopped using it years ago - it got too clever by half and got in the way - i.e me having NoScript = me doing NoWork.

What happens if you click on Private Messages ?

If that doesn't get you there you could run firefox in Safe Mode via Alt/H->Restart firefox with addons disabled or put an exclusion for mobileread.com into NoScript.
