Ah-ha, you mean as in the progress windows the Add Books and Save to Disk pop-up.

However, dropping a format file into the book details panel doesn't pop any windows (or none I can see), yet doing that crashes the 64 bit version.

At this stage SpiderOak is unanswered. If that's not in play, then other than getting James to download the source and to do some debugging I'm out of ideas.
