I've had my Amazon Kindle Keyboard (
this exact one) for years now. I packed it away and didn't use it ever since I got my newest Kindle Fire, a year or two back. I barely found my old KK yesterday and found out that the battery was empty. The screen shows the empty battery and it says:
'Connect your Kindle to a power source and charge it until this screen disappears. This may take 30 minutes. If you continue to see this screen after charging, you will need to reset your Kindle. Unplug it from the power source, then slide and hold the power switch for 15 seconds.'
I've charged it overnight and more, and still now, the power switch is solid orange but it hasn't switched on or even showed any signs of life. (Like the switch turning green) I did the reset; but still no luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions or things I should do? I don't feel like scraping together money to buy a whole new battery if that is what is wrong. I might just scrap it if no suggestions work.
