I come across advertisements here-and-there, and from time-to-time, for HarperCollinsPublishers' sales on ebooks. Here is information about the most recent ad, that I saw today.
There are 122 books in total, if I counted right. The selection includes both non-fiction and fiction, and cuts across many genres. There are some really good titles among them.
All books are
$2.99 and under! This represents a huge discount on most of these books. I did a spot-check of 7 or 8 books, and the price points that I found were $1.99 and $2.99.
HCP directs you to buy the ebooks directly from them. However, it looks like if you don't have a(n) 1) iPhone/iPad, 2) Android, or 3) Kindle Fire, you are out of luck--HCP has only products for them. On top of that, you have to use their proprietary reader. In the aforementioned spot-check that I did, however, I found that
Amazon has the same prices on them. And, of course, the books are Kindle/mobis, so you can use any one of various readers for Kindle.
I didn't find an expiration date anywhere, so as they say around here, "you snooze, you lose."
