I do get the downside of a cover, though, which is increased weight. Sometimes it's easier to hold, sometimes it's harder, depending on the circumstances (which cover, reading posture, individual hands, etc). I'd consider a naked reader purely for in-bed reading, because I never fall asleep with my reader lying in the bed, and I keep it between books in my bedhead shelf - but it's definitely still a risk factor.
