This involves replacing the internal SD card with a new one created from an image that some of our kind members make available.

But you should note that many people report that after convincing Kobo Support of the problem, Kobo is replacing the Wifi with a Touch for free. You might skim through the other threads to see how they did it before going to the trouble of operating on your Kobo.
