KinCleaner Version 8.1 - Automated Deletion of Notices Cluttering Your eInk Kindle

This free PC program for cleaning up Kindle file transfer and library book return notices has been enhanced to support the Basic Kindle 6, seventh generation, released by Amazon in October 2014.

To see what KinCleaner does, and to download, visit:

The new version has only been tested on the Kindle Keyboard 3G and the Basic Kindle 6, those being the Kindle devices in our household. However, the change required to support the new Basic Kindle -- this is the one with a touch screen -- may well mean that KinCleaner now works with other touch screen Kindles not previously supported.

The new support is only provided for the Windows 8 and later version of KinCleaner. However, users of Windows 7 and Windows Vista should feel free to try and see if the Windows 8 version works for them. If it does not, you probably will need to first install a new version of the .NET Framework:

All test reports will be appreciated.
