The main enemy of Lithium batteries in a device with a smart charging circuit is heat. If the temperature isn't too extreme for your continued comfort, your Kindle should be fine. Don't leave your Kindle in cars in the summer, and try to avoid charging it in a hot location. Extreme cold should also be avoided.
