I don't think most people know how to turn down the brightness or think about doing it.

Seriously.

I've set up tablets and phones for several friends and a year later I found they have not changed a single thing. They might have downloaded an app they really need and that's it. The lock screen, the wall papers, the icons and their locations, have stayed exactly the same. I don't know if they don't know how to change it or they just don't care.
