So I have the original kobo wifi and it was turned off for awhile. When I restarted it, it updated its software. And then a few days later all my content was deleted. And I mean everything--all my books and the predownloaded books, plus the instruction manual. There is nothing there now.
I tried to reset it but still the same. I tried kobo desktop but it doesn't even recognize that there is an ereader. Same with calibre, it keeps giving me a communication error
I can see that the ereader is connected to the computer. And its file contents have nothing in it.
Tried kobo support, but honestly that was laughable.
Any suggestions???
