Old library.db

I have an old Ubuntu Hardy (32 bit) installation here and I'm thinking about doing away with; however, I found a calibre library.db file that hasn't been moved across that I had forgotten. It's rather large and full of books I had converted. How can I convert the library.db and extract the books for perusal without 'swamping' my newer calibre installation on my 64 bit installation? It's about 388 MB in size.
