i downloaded the file. when i connect the kindle to my pc, i can see 2 folders:
"documents" and ".active_content_sandbox"
i tried to copy the file update_kindle_5432.bin on my kindle,outside of these 2folders, and as soon as the file was copied, i detached the usb cable from device an rebooted it (if the kindle is connected with the cable,i can't reboot).
but when it starts,nothing happen..the firmware is still 5451 and the file is disappeared.
do i have to do something in a different way?
the voice "update kindle" is not selectable, shoul it make the update automatically when it reboots,or should i do something? sorry
i'm feeling so stupid
update: i also tried copying the file inside folder "documents",but same results. the only difference is that when i restart the kindle and connect to the PC, the file is still there
