No, it was never JB'd.

I suspect some issues occurred for these reasons listed below (and a combination of unknown issues):

1) When putting my first ebook together, I wanted to see how it would look and to also continue proof-reading on it. Numerous versions were put on, taken off, put on.......etc.

2) I 'purchased' two free Penny Dreadful ebooks, and then then decided to sideload them. When I attempted to delete the original copies from the Kindle, and then checked in the Documents folder (just to make sure), I still saw them there. When I attempted to delete them, I was given a message that the titles were too long and could not be deleted. Even after shortening the titles, they could still not be deleted.

3) When books were deleted, their vanilla covers would still be visible. I had to go through the deletion process twice.

4) Other, unknown issues?

The Kindle is now performing flawlessly.

Out of all my ebook readers that I own, I now most often use both the Kindle PW2 and the Kobo Aura HD.
