Christmas Day and the Chiang Mai Fencing Club held a special 'epee only' afternoon. We had a visitor join us from the UK, someone training for the Modern Pentathlon. Epee is one of the five events in it. He wasn't bad, but he didn't do too much winning this afternoon. Five fencers, three of us over 65, and we all won our matches against him. (In all fairness to him, we do have a very strong club.)
Maybe I should train for the Modern Pentathlon?
Nah... I can ride and I can shoot and I can fence. I've taught all three. Can't run worth beans, and broad jump... I don't think I ever tried it.
Time to relax with a big mug of tea!
