I have the prefect guide for using a Reader from Linux.

Step 1. Install Windows
Step 2 forget Linux
Step 3. Install ADE 2.01, nook study, Kindle For PC
Step 4. Install Calibre
Step 5. Install the DRM removal plugin
Step 6. Configure the plugin and Calibre
Step 7. Enjoy!
