On my IPad Mini 2, when I go to the cover page from within a book, the cover image is normally split across multiple screens. This does not happen on my IPhone 4 with the same book--here the image is automatically resized to display completely on a single screen.
This is the code for a sample cover page where this problem happens:
Code:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
<meta name="calibre:cover" content="true" />
<title>Cover</title>
<style type="text/css" title="override_css">
@page {padding: 0pt; margin:0pt}
body { text-align: center; padding:0pt; margin: 0pt; }
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div>
<svg version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"
xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"
width="100%" height="100%" viewBox="0 0 575 881"
preserveAspectRatio="none">
<image width="575" height="881" xlink:href="../images/cover.jpeg"/>
</svg>
</div>
</body>
</html>
