Many people have CC storing on an SD card and use moon+, so it seems that it is something in your installation. There is zero need for moon+ and CC to share the same folder if all you are doing is trying to read books using moon+.

First, what do you mean by "will not open the books". Are you saying that if you use CC's 'read' command then moon+ fails? This is not what other people see and is not expected behavior.

Or are you saying that moon+ will not add the books to its library? This is perfectly normal for the reasons I referred to in your last post about this. There is *no way* to make moon+ be able to import books from a CC library folder on an SD card, and there is no way to make CC be able to write to the moon+ folder on the SD card.

I suggest the following:

1) Uninstall and re-install moon+. Do not change its paths or folders. After the re-install, do not use the moon+ library features. Instead use CC's 'read' to open the book in moon+. My guess is that the book will open. It does for lots of other people.

2) If the above does not work then send me a CC debug log, which might tell me what is going on. Remove the multipie.co.uk email address because there is no need to get my son involved.
