As for shipping, Pocketbook France ships to the US. Of course, this is also the site that took my money, lied to me about shipping, and then ignored me, forcing me to yell to Pocketbook corporate. So buyer beware.

Thanks for that. If I choose this device I might have to get it from somewhere else. I have family in the states but would much prefer to cut out the middle man and get it sent to Australia.
Just to make sure; the inkpad has a headphone jack but does not have speakers? Also, does it have it's own bookstore, or any others you can use?
