It's better than mobipockets which you HAVE to go and redownload everything if you get a new device. And, also you are limited to 4 devices.

you mean if i put a book on my liseuse, it stays unlocked there ? but what if i take it off to make room for new books (keeping an archive copy on my pc), and then 2 years later i want to read it again ? if my cc has changed in between, i can't use the old book ? or if i get a new liseuse in between, i can't read the book on the new device ?
