I would recommend a Palm and a reader with autoscroll and one tap page turning. (Our TomeRaider has these but its aimed mainly at reference works)
You might also want one with bluetooth so you can get a Bloototh Keyboard (eg Stowaway) to control it without having to have your hand where the screen is.
