Well, I'm probably inclined to go to the furry/shapeshifter place quickly because I've posted way too many paranormal werethingy romance freebies and read a lot of Fandom W*nk entries† that made bad puns on animal abilities.
As for MLR's original mandate (pun not planned but now intended, I guess), it's kind of still right there in the browser window titlebar as ManLoveRomance, although they no longer show it quite like that anywhere on the actual website page, and they allude to it in their About Us, and their catalogue is still mainly oriented towards m/m romances (and pretty much every category in their Genres is really a romance subcategory where you can read say, Sports as Romances with Athletes) rather than more generally like, say, Lethe Press.
But they probably have been publishing a few non-primarily-romantic titles since inception as a minority in their catalogue the same way that Dreamspinner Press did before they decided to spinoff their non-romance lines into DSP Productions or Samhain does with their "romantic elements" other-genre books (and no, you're not imagining the Boystown series because I remember them too and I think the rights have reverted to the author and he took them to another publisher or KDP Select).
If you or anyone else is looking to try one of their low-romance high-mystery titles that you might not have already, Vincent Lardo's
The Mask of Narcissus is a reprint of an older 80s work and a pretty decent standalone hard-boiled PI kind of mystery where the primary emphasis is very much on the sleuthing. I bought it via Fictionwise a couple of years ago and
rather liked it when I read it, enough that I picked up some of Lardo's other MLR reprints (still unread) during further FW sales.

Thanks for the heads-up! I was going to try again later tonight if no one mentioned it, but it's nice to find out earlier that it's been fixed.
† "No furbashing, plz." Sometimes I really miss the FW wiki.
