Graphics losing quality

I convert from ePub to mobi (both) in Calibre, and each time the resulting file has its icons/graphics dropped in quality.

For example, I recently converted a For Dummies book, and the little graphical icons next to some sections/boxouts have a noticeable drop in quality from the ePub - much more "pixelly"/lower resolution.

I've checked my settings in Calibre and I've set things like "Disable image compression" to "On".

Thanks
