I have bought digital cookbooks in the past, but I have to admit I rarely remember to use them. Correction. Never remember to use them. I was excited to find the Women's Weekly ones, but the range is limited and the subscription options confusing.

Now, googling for recipes and bringing my phone or iPad into the kitchen, that's different. I recommend a sturdy cover.

That wasn't enough to save an iPad screen when I dropped a cast iron saucepan on it, admittedly.
