That is one lesson of my last post here (#485).

Even though I feel myself usually immune to impulse purchases, when DealNews.com this morning mistakenly showed a US$29 after rebate Paperwhite, I clicked through to purchase, missing the error until DealNews fixed it a few minutes later. Now I have to either keep the $29 basic Kindle, or return to a brick and mortar store. In a year or so, the Paperwhite likely really will be, on the correct day, $29 -- the same price I paid for a Kindle Keyboard lighted case about a year ago.
