A man takes his dog to the vet and says "My dog is cross eyed do you think there is anything wrong with him."
The vet picks the dog up and looks closely into his eyes and says, "I think I am going to have to put him down."
The terrified owner exclaims, "Why? Just because he's cross-eyed?" and the vet replies, "No, because he's getting heavy."
