Everyone smiles in Thailand... Tuesday I visited a massive street market 70k north of Chiang Mai, and shot this video. There a a dozen of these (but on a much smaller scale) right here in Chiang Mai, opening around 5am and closing by noon. When we want really fresh foods for almost no cost, we get up early and shop at them. If we're lazy, we go to the modern supermarkets and pay double...

It look rather shaky when viewed small, so give it the full screen view... and notice all the smiling people!
