I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you are telling me. File menu--> Open Book opens the recent folder to give me options for opening another file from the folder contents. I do not get a "save as" option when I click on Open Book, and there is no File menu option called "Open."

I have searched the Calibre User manual and can find nothing that addresses "save as" option. I am using Calibre 2.12. Is there a newer version?
