Stupid me did something I never did since I have the paperwhite. I left the wifi turned on.
And today when I picked up my turned off kindle I noticed the "unfamiliar" classic kindle screensaver.
Guess what: my kindle updated. I already was in 5.6.1 though, so yes: a new fw version has been released. My kindle reads 5.6.1.0.2 now.

So this message is to notify you of some things: I was on JB 1.14 KUAL 2.5, and the JB holds. Kterm still is executed as root. I have reinstalled SS hack and usbnet hack, and they still works.

Also: as update prevention method, apart from keeping wi-fi turned off, I used the update.bin.tmp.partial directory on the userstore main directory: apparently, this trick ceased working
