To the business to make money it is much more important to have customers. Without customers there will be no sense in treating the employees like kings. My employer, for example, has four customers. In order to keep current and future business from those customers we will bend over backwards to please them
at all costs. Even if it means to temporary treat everybody (the employees) like slaves in order to do so.
