Rather than Aura and PW for $198 I'd prefer Touch and Kindle for $98. I don't read in the dark and that seems to be the big plus of the PW and Aura.
The Aura and PW both have higher resolution screen (1024x758) instead of 800x600. 800x600 is going out of fashion. Only one current Kindle is 800x600. The others are 1204x758 or higher.

So for the extra $20 for the Aura, you get a front light and a higher resolution screen, 4GB ram instead of 2GB, better battery. And most importantly, it's possible that the Touch may no longer be supported. The latest firmware was not released for the Touch. So yes, go with the Aura if you want to keep on being supported with new firmware. It's not worth a $20 savings to have a Reader that may not be supported.

You could go with the Kindle Touch Basic (just called Kindle at Amazon) for a price savings to preview your eBooks. As long as you have one device that has a higher resolution screen, then you'll know how any graphics you use (like the cover) will look.

So my recommendation to save money is to go with the Kobo Aura and the Kindle. The Kindle is $59 at Amazon right now and the Kobo Aura $99 at Chapters.
